"Base camp." We went for a week's break and found the house perfectly comfortable and a welcoming place to return to after our days'exploits. All the home comforts were in the house from the basics, like glasses to sample the fantastic wines of the region to those cooking ingredients you may forget like oil and salt. We brought back with us a lovely idea of storing sugar with a dried vanilla pod, which now reminds us of great times in Faugeres every time we make coffee. As we were holidaying with young children, the sleepy village location was perfect to use as a base camp for or daily escapes in all directions.
